Knead Community Café welcomes donations and sponsorships

Knead Community Café in New Kensington offers free grab-and-go meals on Thursdays to members of the community, regardless of ability to pay.

About 230 meals are served weekly at a cost of $2.50 per meal. Full meal sponsorships are available at $450 per week. Smaller donations are always welcome. The next meal will be served Jan. 7.

Any business, organization, church or individual interested in supporting the mission of the café should call contact Lisa at lisarenae81010@gmail.com or 878-302-3270.

If social distancing has forced you into an unsafe situation, help is available by calling the Alle-Kiski HOPE Center 24-hour hotline at 724-224-1266.

The hotline provides information about domestic violence, community resources, safety planning, support and more.
