Send a gift to a senior at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network
Presbyterian Senior Care Network is encouraging the public to send a gift to a resident of its facilities for Christmas.
Staffers have created wish lists for residents on Amazon.com. Members of the public are welcome to place a registry order before Dec. 16 to allow the campus elves to wrap and enclose a personalized note of cheer for delivery on Christmas Day.

HOPE Center seeking gas card donations
The Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center is seeking donations of gift cards in $10 increments from Sheetz or Get Go.
Survivors of domestic violence can struggle to have funds for gas to get to work or to their court proceedings. Cards can be mailed to P.O. Box 67, Tarentum PA 15084 or delivered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays to the office at 500 E. Eighth Ave., Tarentum.
Free webinar for caregivers offered
SBB University will offer a free live webinar about caregiver resources and support from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 17 on Zoom.us.
Topics will include family caregiver challenges and local resources available that can provide support.

Washington Township collecting for Toys for Alle-Kiski Kids
Donations of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Alle-Kiski Kids can be dropped off in a bin at the main entrance of the Washington Township Municipal Building, 285 Pine Run Church Road.
The bin will be available until Friday.
Concordia cancels annual live Nativity
Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Jefferson, has canceled this year’s live Nativity event scheduled for Sunday due the covid-19 pandemic.
An online event will be announced in the future.
