Burrell middle school students to perform SpongeBob musical
The Charles A. Huston Middle School Drama Club will perform “The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition” at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday at the middle school auditorium, 1020 Puckety Church Road, Lower Burrell.

Soup cook-off planned by Brackenridge American Legion Auxiliary
The Brackenridge American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor a soup cook-off Feb. 10 at the post, 845 First Ave.
Bring your best soup in a roaster or stock pot by 12:30 p.m., and your recipe if you wish to share it. Sampling and judging will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. by all adults who attend and winners will be announced at 3 p.m. Soup will be sold beginning at 2:30 p.m. as a fundraiser for the auxiliary, takeout or dine in and prizes will be awarded.
