River City Brass Band to play at Kiski Area High School
The River City Brass Band will play a concert, “Sounds of the 60s” to benefit the Kiski Area Education Foundation at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium, 240 Hyde Park Road, Allegheny Township.

Children’s party to benefit Highlands Relay for Life
Highlands Area Relay for Life will sponsor a Superhero and Princess Tea Party to benefit the American Cancer Society from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in Patterson Hall at Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1526 Union Ave., Natrona Heights, Harrison.
Children can visit with princesses and super heroes and there will be an ice cream bar for a small fee and basket raffle for adults and children. Costumes are welcome, but not required.
Cost is $5 for adults; $10 per child and children 3 and younger are free. All children attending must have tickets. Advance tickets only, with no refunds. No tickets will be sold at the door.

AVH Auxiliary to sponsor memory board sale
Allegheny Valley Hospital Auxiliary will host a Memory Makers memory board sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the hospital lobby, 1301 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights.
These boards measure 10-12 inches and are created from a picture on your phone or a regular photo. Cost is $10, cash, credit or debit.
Proceeds will benefit auxiliary-sponsored hospital projects.
Feral cat spay and neuter clinic planned for Feb. 29
Homeless Cat Management Team will host a no-charge spay and neuter clinic Feb. 29 at the clinic, 207 Allegheny St., Tarentum.
No-charge clinics are free for feral cats only and are sponsored by individual donors and fundraising events. The Feb. 1 clinic will be sponsored by a Moondogs Funraiser.
Service includes surgery, pain medications, flea treatment, ear mite treatment if needed and rabies vaccine. Cats are ear-tipped to show they have been spayed or neutered and vaccinated for rabies.
Registration is required. To register, call 412-321-4060 and leave a message. A volunteer will return your call and complete the registration process. This may take a few days. Feral cats must arrive in a standard humane box trap.

Salvation Army offers free lunch on Thursday
A free community lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army, 917 Brackenridge Ave., Brackenridge.
