Bouquet Pool conducting membership drive

Bouquet Pool in Springdale is now accepting membership applications for the 2020 season.

Applications are available on the pool’s Facebook page: facebook.com/bouquetparkpool and can be filled out in person from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 29 at Fat Cat Subs, 1401 Freeport Road, Cheswick.

Feb. 23: A dance workshop for students age 6 to 14 with the cast of the Freeport Area High School musical, “42nd Street,” will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Freeport Area Middle School, 629 S. Pike Road. Thursday: Holy Martyrs Church Merry Martyrs will host a lasagna dinner at 12:30 p.m. in the church hall, 353 W. Ninth Ave. Menu: lasagna, meatballs, salad, rolls, dessert, coffee and tea. Vandergrift

Monday: A new Chess Club for children in kindergarten through eighth grade will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays through March 23 at Vandergrift Public Library, 128C Washington Ave. No experience necessary.
