Bouquet Pool conducting membership drive

Bouquet Pool in Springdale is now accepting membership applications for the 2020 season.

Applications are available on the pool’s Facebook page: facebook.com/bouquetparkpool and can be filled out in person from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Fat Cat Subs, 1401 Freeport Road, Cheswick.

Afterschool program offered for Highlands students

The Building Block of Natrona offers a free afterschool program for Highlands School District students in kindergarten through 12th grade from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at the offices of Allegheny Family Network North, 1600 Pacific Ave., Harrison.

March 16 and 23: Christ the King Church is taking orders for their home-baked nut, poppy seed and apricot rolls and Paska Easter bread. Paska may be ordered round or braided and with or without raisins. Rolls are $11.50 and order deadline is March 16. Paska are $6.50 and orders are due March 23. Tuesday: An all you can eat pancake and sausage supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, 926 Painter Ave., Natrona Heights. Cost: $5, includes juice, tea, coffee or water

Leechburg

Tuesday: A pancakes and sausage party will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the social hall at Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St. There will be Cajun music and fun. Donations will be accepted.

Lower Burrell

Tuesday: Bethesda Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Burrell, will offer, “Prime Time for Seniors,” from 1 to 4 p.m. at the church, 3084 Leechburg Road. Anyone who is at least 55 years old is welcome to share conversation, a card game, puzzles and crafts. Details: 724-335-0559

Saxonburg

Tuesday: A National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) support group for those living with a loved one’s mental illness will meet at 6 p.m. at ABBA House, 320 Main St. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month. Details: 724-431-1090

Vandergrift

Tuesday: Kiski Watershed Association will meet at 7 p.m. at Victorian Vandergrift Museum and Historical Society, Sherman Avenue. Please enter by the back door. Public welcome.

Friday: Vandergrift Public Library will have an Escape Room fundraiser at the library, 128C Washington Ave., Vandergrift. Teams of four to six members will use observation, logic and team work to solve a series of puzzles to escape with the lost treasure. Those attending must be at least 18 years old. Cost: $20 per person, and paid reservations with a credit card are required. No refunds will be issued. Reservations: visit eventbrite.com. Proceeds benefit the library.
