Donations needed by Goodwill
Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking donations of gently-used clothing, shoes and housewares to sell in its thrift stores.
Donations are more important now more than ever due to the ongoing high demand from the community. Other items that are accepted include books, jewelry, computers and electronic equipment.
Stores in the Alle-Kiski Valley are located at 4005 Freeport Road in Natrona Heights, Harrison, and 1306 Pittsburgh St., Cheswick. For details, visit goodwillswpa.org.
Winterfest set Saturday in downtown Saxonburg
A Winterfest will be from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Saxonburg.
Activities will include a mobile farm and petting zoo, vendor market, chain saw art ice carving, gift basket auction and entertainment.
