Course available for families of those with mental illness
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Butler County will offer a free Family-To-Family educational course from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays March 9 to April 27 in-person at the office, Holly Pointe Building, 220 S. Main. St., Butler.
The course is taught by trained family members with life experience is for family members, significant others and friends of people who have a mental health condition. Topics will include current treatments and therapies, finding local support services, handling crises, solving problems and managing your own stress.

Tickets on sale for Leechburg benefit spaghetti dinner
The Marconi Club in Leechburg will host a dine-in spaghetti dinner to benefit the medical expenses of Delores Lucjak from 1 to 4 p.m. March 6 in the club Mirror Room, 135 River Ave.
The menu will include spaghetti, salad and bread and there will be a cash bar and 50/50 raffle. Cost is $8 per plate and items from a dessert table will be available for $1 each. No takeout orders will be available.
