Scrapbook fundraiser to benefit A-K Valley museum
Alle-Kiski Valley Heritage Museum and History Center, Tarentum, is accepting table reservations for an evening of scrapbooking planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the museum, 224 E. Seventh Ave.

Accordion group seeking new members
A group of local accordion players will meet at 2 p.m. March 5 at Vine Meeting Hall, 6003 Freeport Road, Harrison, to organize an accordion club in the New Kensington area.
Membership will be open to anyone interested in accordion music. The versatility of the instrument and various styles of music will be explored. This is not an invitation to start a polka band. For details, call 724-236-0665.
Tickets available for annual St. Patrick’s Day dance party
The eighth annual dance party fundraiser will be from 5 to 10 p.m. March 18 at West Leechburg Fire Hall, 1116 Gosser St.
The St. Patrick’s Day-themed event will have music, dancing, a gift basket auction, caricature artist and 50-50 raffle. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person or $45 for couples. The price includes beer, pop, water and light bites. Those attending must be 21 or older. The event is sponsored by Semper Gratus. For tickets, visit kvcares.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
