Valentine’s hike planned Feb. 13 at Outdoor Discovery Center
Naturalist Dave Beale will lead a free 1-mile Valentine’s forest hike at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek, 142 Kerr Road, Bethel.
Hikers will search for animal tracks, learn to identify trees and plants and maybe see a bald eagle. Cocoa and tea will be served afterward in the center. Reservations are required.

Free tax preparation available for seniors
AARP Tax volunteers will provide free tax preparation services for senior citizens Wednesdays Feb. 9 through April 6 at the office of Pa. Rep. Bob Brooks, in Stewart Plaza, 2879 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.
