Shamrock Shuffle 5K and Walk set for March 21

The 2020 Shamrock Shuffle 5K and one-mile Family Fun Walk will begin at 10 a.m. March 21 at West Leechburg Fire Hall, 1116 Gosser St.

The course will run through the streets of West Leechburg and return to the fire hall. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Cost is $20; and couples, $35.

Participants must register by March 6 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Costumes are encouraged and leashed furry friends are welcome. To register, visit sempergratuspgh.org/eventhome. Proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.


Seminar about ticks and Lyme disease offered Feb. 13

The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania will offer a free seminar about ticks and Lyme disease at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Audubon Nature Store, 612 S. Pike Road, Buffalo Township.

Free lunch available at Salvation Army

A free community lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army, 917 Brackenridge Ave., Brackenridge.
