Animal Protectors seeking newspaper donations

Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is seeking donations of newspapers to use in its new cat kennels.

Newsprint is more sanitary for the cats and will keep them healthy. To donate, take your newspapers -after you read The Stroller - to 533 Linden Ave., New Kensington.

CCAC to hold virtual open house

Community College of Allegheny County will host a virtual open house from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 9 online.

Prospective students, along with their family and friends will receive an opportunity to learn more about the enrollment process, academic program options, student engagement options and more. To estimate the cost of tuition and fees, visit ccac.edu/payment/tuition-calculator.php.

Breakout sessions will be offered on admissions, career services, financial aid, student life, athletics and more.
