Nominations sought for Alumni Hall of Fame
Allegheny Valley School District is accepting nominations for its Alumni Hall of Fame.
Nominees may be living or deceased and must have graduated at least 10 years ago from the district or attended school within the current boundaries of the district.
Nominations forms are available on the Alumni link of the Community page on the district website, avsdweb.org and at the central office and must be postmarked by Jan. 31.

Monthly outreach set in Harrison
Building Block of Natrona will host its free Veggies for All and Cosmetics Closet outreach for residents in need at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 28 Garfield St., Natrona, Harrison.
Do not arrive before 12:45 p.m. Free produce and personal care and hygiene products will be distributed, first come, first served, until supplies run out. No income verification required. Masks are required and everyone is welcome.
Reservations being accepted for free Pot Love Dinner
Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church free takeout monthly Pot Love Dinner will begin at noon Saturday at the church, 271 Main St.
Reservations are required by noon Friday. There is a one dinner per family member limit. Those with reservations will be served first.

Saturday: The annual Leechburg Elks Hoop Shoot free throw competition will be at noon in the Leechburg Area High School gymnasium, Center Avenue.
