Allegheny Valley Hospital auxiliary sponsors vacation raffle
Allegheny Valley Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a raffle for a seven night Hilton Head Hideaway vacation.
The prize includes seven nights in a condo at Shelter Cove Harbor in Hilton Head, S.C. The winner will choose one of three available weeks to vacation. Meals and transportation are not included.
Tickets will be sold weekdays through Jan. 31 in the lobby at Allegheny Valley Hospital, 1301 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights.
Tickets are 10 for $5 or 25 for $10, cash only. Proceeds benefit auxiliary projects.
Cash bash to benefit Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament School
Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament School, Harrison, will sponsor a Cash Bash Saturday at the school Patterson Hall, 800 Montana Ave., Natrona Heights.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and drawings for cash prizes will be every 15 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include a dinner buffet and beverages. There will be gaming tickets and raffles. Winners need not be present. Those attending must be at least 21 years old.

Community choir seeking new singers
The Academy Singers Community Choir is looking for new voices to join their group.
The Academy Singers is for singers who want to learn more about choral singing. Selections will include standards, Broadway hits, jazz and light classical music. All voice parts are welcome.
Rehearsals are from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Jan. 28 at the studio in Allegheny Towne Center, Allegheny Township. Sandy Rubright is director.

Volunteers needed at Freeport Area Meals on Wheels
Freeport Area Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers of all ages to cook, pack and deliver meals.
Deliveries are made to residents in Freeport, Buffalo Township, South Buffalo to Slate Lick, Saxonburg to Winfield and Cabot.

Spaghetti dinner to benefit Allegheny Township family
A spaghetti dinner to benefit Jason and Marissa Femc of Allegheny Township who lost their home Jan. 3 in a fire will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Garden Room at Twisted Thistle Restaurant, 127 Market St., Leechburg.
Cost is $5 and there will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. The event is sponsored by Trinity Church of Vandergrift.
Free luncheon planned Saturday in Leechburg
A Pot Love Dinner will be served at noon Saturday at Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., Leechburg.
