Vaccination clinic planned at Knead Community Cafe
Covid-19 vaccinations will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the grab and go dinner distribution at Knead Community Café, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.
Vaccines available will include first, second and booster doses of Pfizer and Moderna and first and second doses of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. Anyone under 18 will require parental consent.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Bring ID and if you have already received a dose, bring your CDC vaccine card. For an appointment, call 833-653-0518 and ask for the Knead Café clinic. The event is sponsored by the café, UMPC, New Kensington Family Health Center and Community Vaccine Collaborative.
Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
Everyone is welcome.
