Lenten fish fry listings wanted
Ash Wednesday is just around the corner and so is Fish Fry season! Lent begins Feb. 14 Ash Wednesday and The Stroller is compiling the annual big list of fish fries.

Local trout club plans annual sport show and flea market
The Tri-County Trout Club will sponsor its annual sport show and flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the basement of Patterson Hall at Guardian Angels Parish, 800 Montana Ave., Natrona Heights, Harrison.
There will be no early bird sales. Merchandise will include new, vintage and collectible fishing and hunting equipment, and camping and sporting items. No guns or ammunition will be sold. Hot food and beverages will be sold. Admission is $3; club members and children younger than 12, free.

Leechburg Elks to host annual hoop shoot event
The annual Leechburg Elks children’s Hoop Shoot competition will be Saturday in the Leechburg Area High School gymnasium, Center Avenue.
Boys and girls age 8 to 13 from the Alle-Kiski Valley and Armstrong County areas are eligible. Doors open at noon for registration and the free competition will begin at about 12:15 p.m. Children will be registered according to their age as of April 1, 2024.
