Natrona outreach to distribute free veggies, personal products

Building Block of Natrona will host its free Veggies for All and Cosmetics Closet outreach for residents in need at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 28 Garfield St., Natrona, Harrison.

Free produce and personal care and hygiene products will be distributed, first come, first served, while supplies last. Please arrive by 12:30 p.m. to line up because supplies go quickly.

No income verification is required. Everyone is welcome. Please wear a mask to prevent spread of the flu, RSV and covid-19.


Free luncheon available Saturday in Leechburg

Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church will have its free takeout monthly Pot Love Dinner at noon Saturday at the church, 271 Main St.

Reservations are required by noon Friday. There is a one dinner per family member limit. Those with reservations will be served first. Line-up will be outside and everyone is welcome.

Saturday: The Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek, 142 Kerr Road, will host a lecture, “But It’s Just a Day Hike, and Other Famous Last Words,” from noon to 2 p.m. at the center. Instructors from the True North Wilderness Survival School will discuss how to better protect yourself and others during your next outdoor adventure. Suitable for those who are at least 13-years-old.
