Pool tournament to aid fire victims
A doubles pool tournament fundraiser to benefit Jason and Marissa Femc of Allegheny Township who lost their home Jan. 3 in a fire, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barefoot Bar & Grill, 614 Schenley Road, Gilpin.

Free lunch planned in Harrison
St. Joseph Parish will serve a free light luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the parish St. Ladislaus Hall, 48 Spruce St., Natrona, Harrison.
Homemade soup, desserts, rolls and beverages will be served. The public is welcome.
Salvation Army plans free lunch and food distribution
A free community lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army, 917 Brackenridge Ave., Brackenridge.
