Banners to honor veterans in West Deer
West Deer Township is accepting orders for banners to honor township residents who served in the Armed Forces.
The double-sided banners will be printed by Gray Signs and measure 24 x 30-inches. Cost is $120 plus tax and includes banner, hardware, photo scanning and proof.

New Kensington Community Clothes Closet open
Saturday: The Community Clothes Closet, 1129 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, offers winter clothing, including coats, shoes, boots, for men, women and children, linens and blankets, and uniforms for students of Mary Queen of Apostles School.
First-time customers receive 15 free items. Hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. A drop-off container for donations is at the entrance.
