Drive-thru Valentine meal to benefit Peoples Library
Peoples Library will sponsor a drive-thru takeout meal with wine from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 with pick-up in the parking lot behind the New Kensington location, 880 Barnes St.
The menu is by Hoffstot’s Café Monaco and will include cream of tomato soup with crackers, braised beef pot roast with natural jus, rosemary and shallot mashed potatoes, baby green beans, raspberry cheesecake parfait with chocolate mousse and choice of red or white wine.

HOPE Center accepting donations
The Alle-Kiski HOPE Center is seeking accepting donations for the clients it serves. The center provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Items in need include pull-up diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6; underwear, pajamas and slippers in all sizes and genders; bottles, sippy cups, baby wipes, lotion, kitchen towels and pot holders.
