Bowl-A-Thon to raise money for Burrell foundation
The annual Bowl-A-Thon, sponsored by Burrell Education Foundation, will be 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at Wildlife Lanes, 1000 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell.
Cost is $20 per bowler; and includes bowling and shoe rental. There will be prizes and raffles and the first person to roll a 300 game will win $1,000. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
The Bowl-A-Thon benefits the foundation’s educational, cultural and recreational activities for residents of Upper and Lower Burrell.

Fundraiser to benefit A-K Hope Center
Cabin Fever Reliever, a raffle fundraiser to benefit the Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 14 at the Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars, 894 Veterans Drive, Harrison.
Admission is $10 and includes lunch, pop, beer and one entry into the door prize drawing. Drawings will be every half hour and there will be cash bar. Raffle tickets will be 20 tickets for $10.
