Deer Lakes HS to present, “Beehive: School Edition”

The Deer Lakes High School Drama Department will present, “Beehive: School Edition,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium, West Deer.

The show celebrates the powerful female voices of the 60s and includes hits such as, “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “Be My Baby,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “Me and Bobby McGee.”

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.


Super bingo planned at Tarentum Elks

Tarentum Elks will host a Super Bingo March 8 at the lodge, 219 E. Sixth Ave.

Doors open at noon and early birds will begin at 2 p.m. Admission is $25 and includes 16 cards, four specials and a $1,000 must-go jackpot.
