Free performance by Sadecky’s Puppets set Saturday
Sadecky’s Puppets will present a free performance at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Presbyterian Church, 913 Lock St., Tarentum.
All members of the family will enjoy their fun and positive message.
Hospital auxiliary sponsors vacation raffle
Allegheny Valley Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a raffle for a seven night Hilton Head Hideaway vacation.
The prize includes seven nights in a condo at Shelter Cove Harbor in Hilton Head, S.C. The winner will choose one of three available weeks to vacation. Meals and transportation are not included.
Tickets will be sold weekdays through Friday in the lobby at Allegheny Valley Hospital, 1301 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights.
Tickets are 10 for $5 or 25 for $10, cash only. Proceeds benefit auxiliary projects.
Community Clothes Closet open in New Kensington
The Community Clothes Closet, 1129 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, offers winter clothing, including coats, shoes, boots, for men, women and children, linens and blankets, and uniforms for students of Mary Queen of Apostles School.
First-time customers receive 15 free items. Hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. A drop-off container for donations is at the entrance.

Vandergrift
Saturday: The Veterans of Foreign Wars will host a bingo at 7 p.m. at the post, 141 Sumner Ave. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The kitchen will be open. There will be free hot dogs and coffee, early bird games, specials and a smokers’ break game. Cost: $40, includes 18 cards; or $25, nine cards.
