Highlands HS plans annual cabaret concert Saturday
The 12th annual Highlands High School Alumni Cabaret Concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the high school auditorium, 1500 Pacific Ave., Harrison.
Musical selections will be performed by Highlands Musical Alumni, the high school honors choir, Variations Show Choir and the cast of this year’s musical “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical.”
Refreshments and desserts will be served, and there will be a basket auction, a 50-50 raffle and a meet-and-greet.
The lobby will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5. Proceeds will benefit the spring musical production.
Salvation Army to distribute free lunches
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center will distribute free grab-and-go lunches from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the center parking lot, 917 Brackenridge Ave., Brackenridge.
Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.
Apollo

Feb. 10: Our Lady, Queen of Peace Parish will host a cash bash in the church social hall, 411 McKinley Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the first number will be drawn at 7 p.m. Cost: $30, includes food, beverages and a chance to win $3,000 in cash prizes. Must be 21 to attend. There will be pull tabs, a scratch-off lottery board, theme baskets and 50-50 raffles.
