Drive-through food distribution set Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.
Reservations are not required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis. Guests will complete a short registration process onsite. Each household will need to complete an annual self-declaration of need form to receive food.
Hospital auxiliary sponsors Hilton Head vacation raffle
Allegheny Valley Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a raffle for a Hilton Head, S.C. vacation.
The prize includes seven nights in a condo at Harbourside III Condo in Shelter Cove Harbor in Hilton Head. The winner will choose either the week of May 14 to 21, 2023 or Aug. 13 to 20, 2023 to vacation. Meals and transportation are not included.
Tickets are $1, cash only. Tickets will be sold from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 30 and 31 in the Carlisle Corner at Allegheny Valley Hospital, 1301 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. The winner will be drawn at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 31.
Proceeds benefit auxiliary projects for the hospital.
