Annual golf outing planned by Tarentum Lions Club

Tarentum Area Lions Club will host their annual golf outing July 10 at Lenape Heights Golf Resort, 950 Golf Course Road, Manor Township.

A shotgun start will be at 8 a.m. Cost is $85 per player and includes golf, cart and a hot lunch. There will be skill prizes and a silent auction.

Fireworks watch party planned Saturday

Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge, welcomes the public to watch the Tarentum fireworks display at dusk Saturday from its parking lot, 857 10th Ave.

Free popcorn and water will be available.

Allegheny Valley Association of Churches has free support services available for anyone who lives in Allegheny County and needs help with resume building, job searching and being interview ready.

Fireworks display planned Saturday in Saxonburg

New Life Christian Ministries and Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a fireworks display at dusk Saturday at the volunteer fire department carnival grounds, 210 Horne Ave.

Free shuttle service will be available to the event from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. from New Life, 139 Knoch Road, Jefferson Township, and Knoch High School with return service until 11 p.m.
