Concordia Ministries to hold Kids’ Fishing Days
Concordia Lutheran Ministries will host three Kids’ Fishing Days for children 14 and younger at Saxony Farm Estates, Addy Boy Lane, Winfield.
Scheduled for July 18, July 25 and Aug. 1, the events were planned to replace the annual Fishing Derby for Kids. Sessions will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Free refreshments and bait will be available. A limited number of fishing poles will be on hand, so participants are encouraged to bring their own. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Rather than measuring fish and awarding prizes, door prizes will be announced every half hour.
Registration is required. Sessions will be limited to 100 total guests to allow for social distancing. Please limit the number of adults in your party to allow for more children to fish.
To register, visit concordiaLM.org. For information, call 724-352-1571, ext. 8268.
