American Pie band to play in Tarentum’s Riverview Park

Tarentum Summer Concert Series will feature band American Pie at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park.

The Snack Shack opens at 6 p.m. The concerts are sponsored by Tarentum Recreation Board.


Summer concert series to feature Jimmy Mac and the Attack

The free Pittsburgh Brewing Co. Thunder Summer Music Series will present Jimmy Mac and the Attack at 7 p.m. Thursday at the pavilion at the Syria Shrine Center, 1877 Shriners Way, Harmar.

Gates open at 6 p.m., rain or shine. There is free parking, and food and beverages will be sold. No tailgating or outside food or drinks are permitted.

July 30: Markle Volunteer Fire Department is accepting space reservations for an outdoor flea market in the firehall parking lot, 470 Joyce St. Cost: $15 for a 15 x 25-foot space. Reservations required by Friday. Reservations: 724-236-0665.

East Vandergrift  

July 3 and 4: Our Lady, Queen of Peace Parish is selling tickets for a Firecracker Cash lottery raffle. Cost: $10, includes two three-digit numbers. The winning number will be the 7 p.m. Daily Pick-3 number on July 3 and 4. Winners receive $1,000, a $100 gift card to Lackey’s Dairy Queen, North Apollo, and a $100 gift card to Allusion Brewery, Vandergrift. Lower Burrell 

Oct. 22: New Kensington Moose is accepting table reservations for a fall craft and vendor show planned for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the lodge, 499 Reimer St. Spaces limited to one representative from each company on a first come, first served basis. Washington Township

West Deer
