Free Narcan to be distributed in Apollo
A free community Narcan distribution will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 310 Clifford Ave., Apollo.
Instructions for administration of Narcan and addiction and recovery resources will be provided. Drive-thru and walk-up distribution will be available.
The event is sponsored by the Armstrong Indiana Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission.
Remembrance Tree planned in Tarentum park
Tarentum Recreation Board is sponsoring a Remembrance Tree that will be placed on the side of Snack Shack facing the street in Riverview Memorial Park.
Tree leaves and rocks will be engraved with your loved one’s memory and the tree will be encased for safety.
Metal leaves measuring 1 ¾ x 3 1/2 inches can be purchased for $40 and contain three lines of 23 characters and spaces. Rocks are 3 x 5 ¼ inches and cost $125. They also hold three lines of 23 characters and spaces. Rock availability will be limited.

Knead Community Café welcomes donations
Knead Community Café, New Kensington, is accepting donations to help the daily operation of the café, 1011 Barnes St.
Items on the café’s wish list include premium white Vanity Fair 2-ply napkins, Clorox wipes, full-sized aluminum foil steam pans, Mini Moo’s creamer cups, dry creamer canisters, vinyl food service gloves in sizes large and extra large, cupcake liners and Tide or Gain powdered laundry detergent.
