Allegheny Valley Association of Churches accepting donations for food bank
Donations are welcome for the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches food bank in Harrison.
Items most needed include peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, pasta, cereal, canned tuna and chicken, juice and diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6. Drop-off times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the office, 1913 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.
Groups that would like to organize a food drive to benefit the food bank should contact the food bank coordinator at 724-226-0606.
