Mt. St. Peter Parish to celebrate 44th annual Festa Italiana

The 44th annual Mt. St. Peter Parish Festa Italiana will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and after the 4 p.m. Saturday Mass till 9 p.m. on the parish grounds, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.

Entertainment will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. VZH&M will perform on Friday and the 56 East Band on Saturday.

There will be children’s games, bingo, raffles and other games of chance for those 21 and over. Food choices include a variety of Italian food specialties, desserts and pastries. Parking and bus transportation will be available from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, both from the Valley High School parking lot. Admission is free.

Saturday : A free guided hike with park rangers will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at Harrison Hills Park. Meet at the environmental learning center.
