Freeport Theatre Festival to open 2021 season
The Freeport Theatre Festival will present, “The Rainmaker,” at 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays July 9 through July 25 at the Steele Family Farm off Route 356 on White Cloud Road in Allegheny Township.

Kennywood Slovak Day activities planned for July 15
The Western Pennsylvania Slovak Day Committee will present the 98th annual American Slovak Day on July 15 at Kennywood Park, West Mifflin.
The Slovak kitchen will open at 12:30 p.m. in Pavilion No. 4 behind Garfield’s Revenge. On the Main Pavilion Stage, No. 5, there will be Slovak cultural displays and a marketplace. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. in Pavilion No. 5 followed by a Slovak sing-along and performance by the Pittsburgh Slovakians.

Free concert planned Friday in Freeport Riverside Park
Freeport Renaissance Association will sponsor a free concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday in Riverside Park.
