Grief workshop offered by Good Samaritan Hospice

Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will sponsor a free virtual bereavement program at 4 p.m. July 18 for parents, caregivers and family members who are grieving the loss of a child.

The session is for anyone who is experiencing grief related to any form of child loss, including pregnancy loss, the death of a child or the death of an adult child. The program will include prayer, reflection and grief care recommendations. Individuals of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome.

Grace Community Presbyterian Church will have vacation Bible school “God’s Creatures Great and Small” for children in kindergarten through fifth grade from 6 to 8:15 p.m. July 15 through 17 at the church, 2751 Grant St., Lower Burrell. July 12: The Shawn Deslauriers Memorial Bocce Tournament will begin at noon at the 135 Marconi Club, River Avenue.
