Kiski Township Fire Department plans car show
Kiski Township Volunteer Firemen will host their fifth annual car show from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the firehall, 1037 Route 56.
Entry fee is $10. There will be T-shirts and plaques for the first 150 cars, food, a basket raffle, trophies and door prizes. For details, call Dan at 724-339-3495.
American Cancer Society seeks volunteers
The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive cancer patients to treatment appointments.
Access to timely, high-quality treatment can often be a cancer patient’s largest roadblock to survival. The society’s Road to Recovery program fills the gap when friends and family are unable to help out.

Community Day planned in Springdale
Springdale will celebrate Community Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on Lincoln Avenue.
There will be a car show, vendors, food trucks, children’s activities and fire extinguisher training. Non-perishable food items will be collected for Lower Valley Food Bank. Donors will receive an entry for a special raffle. A collection bin is also available in hallway at the Springdale Borough building.
