Free STEM camps offered for local teens
The Digital Foundry, 855 Fifth Ave., New Kensington, will sponsor free STEM programs for students who will be in eighth to 12th grade in the fall.
Teens can attend sessions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29 to 31 or Aug. 5 to 7 to explore advanced technologies and learn from industry experts. Participants will receive in-depth, hands-on interaction and explore career opportunities in product development and smart manufacturing. Topics will include digital measurement, computer-aided design, working with hand and power tools, 3D printing, industrial robotics and more. No experience is required.
