Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank to stop in Vandergrift
As part of its pop-up tour, the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank will distribute free diapers from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at East Primary School, 420 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift.
To ensure enough diapers are available, registration is requested by emailing your name, number of children and diaper sizes to info@wpadiaperbank.org.
HOPE Center seeking volunteers
The Alle-Kiski HOPE Center is looking for people to volunteer their time.
The center offers supportive services, opportunities for healing, and community education to assist victims of domestic violence and abuse. Training is free and can be done virtually. There are many types of opportunities available.

Free children’s meals to be distributed in Harrison
Grace United Methodist Church, Harrison, will distribute free grab and go meals for children from 11 a.m. to noon weekdays at the church, 1333 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.
The program is part of the Kids Meal Network.
PennDOT releases roadwork schedule
PennDOT crews will be working in the following areas of Westmoreland County this week:
• LaBelle Vue Road, Allegheny Township: pipe repairs
• Upper Drennan Road, Upper Burrell: side dozing
• Craigdell Road, Lower Burrell: crack sealing
Motorists should expect delays and possible closures in these areas.

The book drop at Community Library of Allegheny Valley is now open. Curbside service will begin Monday.
Lower Burrell
Monday: Lower Burrell Council will meet at 7 p.m. partially by teleconference at city hall, 2800 Bethel St. Public participation through written comments is encouraged and preferred. Written comments should be sent via US Mail or emailed to colb@cityoflowerburrell.com by 4 p.m. Monday. The agenda is posted on the city website and at the municipal building. Physical presence by the public will be limited and subject to 6-foot physical distancing. Those attending must wear a face mask. Those without issues requiring immediate attention are asked to refrain from physically attending. The public will not be admitted beyond capacity.
