Free Pot Love luncheon planned Saturday

Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church will host its free monthly takeout Pot Love Dinner at noon Saturday at the church, 271 Main St., Leechburg.

Cat food, litter needed at Animal Protectors

Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, New Kensington, needs wet and dry cat food for its community pet pantry.

All brands and sizes of food and litter are needed. Bring items to the back door of the shelter at 730 Church St. and ring the doorbell.

Springdale VFD to host food truck roundup

A food truck roundup will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Springdale Volunteer Fire Department, 845 Lincoln Ave.

There will be music, and the fire company will sell its well-known Carnival Pizza and hot sausage.

Free webinar about hospice care offered

Community Library of Allegheny Valley and Monarch Hospice will sponsor a free online webinar about hospice benefits at 10 a.m. Saturday on Zoom.us.

Topics will include the basics of hospice care, who is eligible and what type of illness makes a person eligible for hospice care. A question-and-answer session will be afterward.
