Greek Food Festival planned in Oakmont
The annual Greek Food Festival will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Ave., Oakmont.
Food will be available from noon to 9 p.m. and music and dancing will continue until 11 p.m. Evening performances will be by the Grecian Odyssey Dancers and the church youth group. The menu will include chicken alexis, lamb shanks, pork souvlaki, pastitso, gyros and more. Advance online ordering with curbside pickup will be available and payment will be by credit and debit cards only.

Plum Summerfest set for Larry Mills Park
The annual Plum Summerfest will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday in Larry Mills Park.
There will be carnival rides, food trucks, games and fireworks on Saturday night.
Golf outing to benefit Freeport Hockey
A golf outing fundraiser to benefit Freeport Hockey will be Aug. 20 at Birdsfoot Golf Club, 225 Furnace Road, South Buffalo.
The event is a four-man scramble and the shotgun start will be at 8 a.m. Cost is $100 per golfer and includes breakfast, cart, buffet luncheon and refreshments while golfing.
