Hartwood Acres to host Allegheny County Music Festival
The 25th annual Allegheny County Music Festival will be Sunday at the Hartwood Acres amphitheater, Indiana Township.
Performers will include Randall Baumann’s Ramble: A Celebration of Levon Helm’s Midnight Rambles, a Pittsburgh All-Star Band performing songs made famous by Levon Helm and The Band; Meeting of Important People (MOIP), a local indie-rock group led by Josh Verbanets; and folk-rock ensemble Woodland Creatures.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Food trucks and family-friendly activities will be on-site. Rain or shine. Admission is $20 per vehicle and will benefit the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund.
Volunteer opportunities available at Knead Community Cafe
Knead Community Café in New Kensington is looking for helpers to work on Saturdays.

Raffle to benefit Veterans Groceries in Need program
The Westmoreland County Marines Detachment No. 1416 is conducting a raffle for a $1,000 gift card to Community Market.
The second-place winner will receive a Blackstone grill and griddle combo, a Yeti cooler on wheels and a stovetop grill on wheels. Tickets are $10 each and include two numbers. The winning number will be the 7 p.m. July 4 Pick 3 number of the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Sunday: The garden strolls that were to be held on June 8 in the township will be from noon to 3 p.m. in the gardens of seven township residents. The event was postponed due to inclement weather.
