Murphy’s Music Center Band to present free concert in Tarentum
Tarentum Summer Concert Series will feature the Murphy’s Music Center Band featuring Sinatra singer John Noble at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park.
The Snack Shack opens at 6 p.m. The concerts are sponsored by Tarentum Recreation Board.
Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
Free concert planned at Shrine Center
The Pittsburgh Shrine Center will present a free outdoor concert featuring the Recorder Bob’s Birthday Bash with the Aces from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday undercover at the center, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick.
Gates open at 6 p.m. Seating and tables will be provided, and food and beverages will be sold. No outside food and beverages, please.
