New Kensington Storywalk to feature children’s book
Peoples Library and Allegheny County Library Association Youth Services are sponsoring a Storywalk through July 3 in New Kensington’s Memorial Park.
The Storywalk will feature the book, “Last Stop on Market Street,” by Matt de la Peña and is open during regular park hours.

Harrison
Today: The garden strolls that were to be held on June 8 in the township will be from noon to 3 p.m. in the gardens of seven township residents. The event was postponed due to inclement weather. Maps of the participating gardens are available at Community Library of Allegheny Valley, at the township municipal building and online the Facebook page of the recreation board.
Tuesday: The free summer children’s playground program sponsored by Natrona Comes Together Association will offer a tour of an ambulance at noon at the Natrona pavilion, 10 River Ave. A free lunch is served by Faith Community Partners from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays for children 18 and younger.
