Tarentum Summer Concert series to feature American Pie

The Tarentum Summer Concert series will open the summer concert season at 7 p.m. Thursday with a performance by the band American Pie in the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park.

The Snack Shack opens at 6 p.m. The concerts are sponsored by Tarentum Recreation Board.

Rock music event to benefit Robin’s Home veterans charity

The third annual Food Truck ‘N Rock Fest will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at Sprankle Woods Farm, 340 Reimer Road, Buffalo Township.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. The event will benefit veterans charity Robin’s Home. There will be live music, children’s activities, food trucks, entertainment vendors and a 50-50.
