Volunteers sought to clean up Harrison Hills Park
Friends of Harrison Hills Park will have a Clean Up Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 28 at the park, Freeport Road, Harrison.
Volunteers are needed to spread mulch and uncover the sprouting plants in the Outdoor Classroom and dust nature displays, stain the wooden structure and dust and sweep inside the learning center.
Pizza will be served at noon. Come for a one- or two-hour work session or the entire time. To volunteer, email friendsofharrisonhills@gmail.com. For details, call 724-496-9774.
Freeport Softball Boosters plan skills camp
Freeport Softball Boosters will host a skills camp for girls in first through eighth grade from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28 at the softball fields in Freeport Community Park.
Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt. Those attending should bring a bat, glove and water and wear proper outside ball field attire. Rain date is April 8.

Alle-Kiski Music Day Camp scheduled for June 21-26
Alle-Kiski Music Day Camp will be June 21 through 26 at Center United Methodist Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Fawn. Orientation and a faculty recital will be at 2:30 p.m. June 21.
This nonprofit camp is for youths, 6 through 18, who will be separated into age groups, and includes chorus, hand bells, Orff, piano, jazz dance, teen ensemble, band, strings, composition, musical heritage, drama and art. A closing concert will be June 26. No experience is required.
