Highlands HS students to perform ‘Footloose’

The Highlands High School drama department will present its spring musical, “Footloose,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium, Harrison.

Tickets will be sold from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today and Thursday for $10 for the orchestra section; $8 for the mezzanine and $6 for the balcony. The box office will open one hour before each show in the auditorium lobby. Cost at the door will be $12 for the orchestra and mezzanine areas and $6 for the balcony. Discounts are available for Gold Card members.

March for Parks planned in Westmoreland County

The 23rd annual Westmoreland County March for Parks event will be March 29 at Twin Lakes Park, Greensburg.

Check-in will begin at 10 a.m. at the park nature center. Walkers will turn in donations and contributions. Those who turn in at least $30 will earn an event T-shirt. There will be a barbecue pig roast lunch, basket raffle, music and entertainment.
