Donations accepted for Leechburg boat ramp project
Leechburg Borough is accepting donations to be used for the construction of a primitive boat ramp in Leechburg Riverside Park.
A $3,000 grant was secured and if $1,000 is raised, additional grant funds of $5,000 will be received from Armstrong County. Total cost of the project is $9,000.
To contribute to this project, send a check payable to “Leechburg Gazebo Boat Ramp,” to the borough office at 260 Market St., Leechburg PA 15656.
Salvation Army free lunch distribution planned Thursday
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
