Tickets available for annual St. Patrick’s Day dance party

The ninth annual Small Town Loud Voice dance party fundraiser will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at West Leechburg Fire Hall, 1116 Gosser St.

The St. Patrick’s Day-themed event will have music, dancing, a gift basket auction, caricature artist and 50-50 raffle. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person or $45 for couples. The price includes beer, pop, water and light bites. Those attending must be 21 or older. The event is sponsored by Semper Gratus. For tickets, visit sempergratuspgh.org/events. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Seed-sharing library opens in Harrison

Community Library of Allegheny Valley, 1522 Broadview Blvd., Harrison, has opened a library for residents to share their extra flower, herb and vegetable seeds and pick up seeds for use in their own garden.

Patrons may take up to five packets per household and if possible, should bring in a packet of seeds to donate. For details, call 724-226-3491.

Animal Protectors seeking donations

Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is accepting donations of pet food and supplies for its community pantry.

Thursday: The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center will distribute free grab-and-go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the center parking lot, 917 Brackenridge Ave. Enter from the back gym door by the alley. Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.

East Vandergrift  

Sunday : Our Lady, Queen of Peace Parish is selling raffle tickets for a half a cow and a $100 gift certificate to Anna’s Cucina Rustica in Vandergrift. Harrison  

Today: The Becky’s Closet community clothing store at Faith Lutheran Church, 1500 Broadview Blvd., will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Cost: tops and bottoms for men and women, $50 cents; children’s clothing, 25 cents. Donations welcome during these hours. Everyone welcome.

Today: Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank will be open from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at 1913 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Food bank participants can receive food allotments twice per month. Those who are not yet registered should come from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
