Redemption Church to deliver free food for Easter dinner
Redemption Church in Lower Burrell will deliver free food that can be cooked for Easter dinner to anyone in need who lives in Lower Burrell, Arnold, New Kensington and Tarentum.
Items include a ham, boxed scalloped potatoes, carrots, dinner rolls, butter, pie and milk. Supplies are limited and registration is required. To register, visit redemptionpa.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/786325. Registration deadline is 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Penn State Extension offers free cooking webinar
Penn State Extension will offer a free live webinar, “Charcuterie Boards,” at 6 p.m. April 7 online.
A charcuterie board is a fancy display of these thinly sliced specialty meats, pâté selections and/or whole salami to slice and will usually include a selection of cheeses and extras such as nuts, fruits, spreads, mustards, jellies, crackers, breads, olives and pickles.

Easter Egg Bash set for Saturday in Tarentum
BridgePoint Church, 400 E. Ninth Ave., Tarentum, will host an outside Easter Egg Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
There will be games and prizes. Social distancing will be observed. Public welcome.
Town hall planned in Lower Burrell
A Westmoreland County town hall event will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Magill’s Grill and Irish Pub, 3210 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.
Speakers will include State Rep. Carrie Lewis DelRosso, State Rep. Rob Mercuri, County Commissioner Doug Chew, Rachel Zupanc and Ed Kroupa from the Pa. Patriot Group, Leah Hoopes and Audit the Vote Pa. and Constitution Coach Karen Taylor. Candidates for clerk of courts, prothonotary and lieutenant governor will also be present.
