Wall of flags to be placed on Kittanning amphitheater

The John T. Crawford Camp 43 of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will have its second Wall of Flags at the Murtha Amphitheater in Kittanning.

The goal of the project is to line the top of the amphitheater with 11.5 x 16.5-inch American flags. For $10 per flag, donors can have a flag displayed in honor of a friend, ancestor, emergency responder, educator or any one of their choice. Honorees do not have to be from Armstrong County. Flags will have a card attached with the honoree’s name and pertinent information and be on display from May 1 to 31.
