Family Feud game night to benefit local fire departments

A Family Feud Game Night will be April 23 at Oklahoma School House Hall, 171 Thorn St.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The game show host will be Patrick Fisher and cash prizes will be awarded. Tickets are $20 and include refreshments, food and entry into feud play. Must be at least 21.

Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday

The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.

Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.

Irish concert at Concordia canceled

Tonight’s concert of Irish music featuring Steel Clover at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Jefferson is canceled. For details, call 724-352-1571, ext. 8477.

Cost: $10; younger than 10, $5. This is the dinner that was canceled March 12 because of snow. Proceeds will benefit the club scholarship program.

Gilpin

Harrison

Wednesday: The Agape Thrift Shop at Grace United Methodist Church, 1333 Freeport Road, will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Masks required. Clean spring and summer clothing in all sizes is needed. Bring donations on Wednesday or leave them on the front porch. Do not place donations in the blue bins behind the church.

Wednesday: Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank will be open to anyone in need from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at 1913 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Pull into the center parking lot and food will be placed into your vehicle. Those who are not yet registered should come from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Sunday: A super bingo to benefit local veterans in need will be at 2 p.m. at Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars, 894 Veterans Lane.
