Ride for the Fallen Officers planned March 11
The Ride for the Fallen Officers will begin at 11 a.m. March 11 from the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter, 100 Highlands Mall, in Harrison.
Lineup will begin at 10:30 a.m. The ride will proceed to the McKeesport Transportation Center, 541 Lysle Blvd. where a food truck will be provided by Jordan’s Two.
Car and motorcycle clubs and individuals are welcome. The mission of the event is to raise awareness for the members of law enforcement who have lost their lives in the line of duty. For details, email rideforthefallen@yahool.com.

Alle-Kiski Area Hope Center accepting clothing donations
The Alle-Kiski Area Hope Center is seeking donations of new socks, slippers, underwear, leggings and T-shirts for older teens and adults.
Donations can be delivered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays to the administration building, 500 E. Eighth Ave., Tarentum.

Local Freemason lodges and groups collected money in memory of Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire to be donated to his family.
Donations were received from Bethel Lodge and Hall Association in Lower Burrell, Pollock Lodge in Tarentum, Plum Creek Lodge in Plum, Seneca Lodge in Kittanning, Infinity Lodge in Penn Hills, Lodge No 45 of Pittsburgh, Allegheny Valley School of Masonic Instruction in Plum, the Pennsylvania Tyrians – Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association in Lower Burrell and 13 individuals.
A total of $4,645 was collected.
